TANIKA CHARLES’ ‘SOUL RUN’ CO-WRITTEN BY BEATCHILD EARNS 2017 JUNO AWARD NOMINATION

Canadian soul singer Tanika Charles’ debut LP, Soul Run, featuring tracks co-written and produced by Beatchild, has earned a nomination for R&B/Soul Recording of the Year at this year’s Juno Awards. Beatchild contributed two tracks to the the album, including radio-mainstay title track “Soul Ride” and ”Darkness and the Dawn”, the latter of which was praised by Exclaim as being “modern-minded with a breezy old-school feeling”. Exclaim further gave the album an 8/10.
The 46th annual Juno Awards takes place on April 2nd and will be held at The Canadian Tire Centre in Ottawa, ON.
