In the most recent episode of ABC’s new comedy Black-ish, Terror Squad’s Scott Storch-produced hit “Lean Back” was featured for a hot sec in a dinner scene between main characters Dre and Bow and the Republican parents of their son’s latest infatuation. The girl’s mother discusses how she put her legal career on the back burner when she had children, and that rather than doing all that tedious “leaning in”, she “leaned back” into their children. Her husband, Marcus, jokingly states, “Lean back, lean back”, slipping in the eleven-year-old reference in a patently parental move.
