UPDATED: ANASTACIA RELEASES ‘RESURRECTION’
Date:
American singer-songwriter and global phenom Anastacia releases Resurrection today, marking the artist’s first full-length release since her recent battle with cancer. Resurrection is Anastacia’s sixth studio album, and is an incredible display of the artist’s will to succeed and tell her story. The album takes the listener on an emotionally-charged journey, from the larger-than-life vocal performance on the Jamie Hartman Phil Bentley penned ballad, “Lifeline,” all the way through to “Broken Wings,” a track that puts Anastacia’s vocals in the limelight atop distorted drums and flowing piano melodies.
The standard edition LP features four tracks by Reservoir writer Jamie Hartman: “Lifeline (co-written by Reservoir writer Phil Bentley),” “Pendulum,” “Stay,” and “Apology.” The deluxe edition features an additional track penned by Hartman, titled “Other Side of Crazy.”
