SELENA GOMEZ AND MARSHMELLO RELEASE NEW SINGLE “WOLVES,” CO-WRITTEN BY ALI TAMPOSI
Date:
Selena Gomez has teamed up with EDM DJ Marshmello on her new single “Wolves,” co-written by Reservoir writer Ali Tamposi, released today via Interscope Records. The anthemic pop track is a catchy and personal look into Gomez’ personal life with lyrics such as “I wanna feel the way that we did that summer night” and “I’ve looked for love in every stranger, took too much to ease the anger.. All for you”.
In a recent interview with Billboard, the 25-year-old singer said “Wolves” was “one of [her] favorite songs” on her forthcoming album. “It’s really cool,” Gomez said. “It’s kind of in that world, [Marshmello’s] world, and I’m stepping into it and bringing my style too.”
Ali Tamposi’s hit making has not slowed down all year. This track is her second collaboration with Gomez, her first being the RIAA platinum certified smash hit “It Ain’t Me” by Gomez and Kygo. Her most recent projects include co-writing Rita Ora’s new single “Anywhere,” Hailee Steinfeld and Alesso’s “Let Me Go (feat. Florida Georgia Line & Watt),” Camila Cabello’s “Havana (feat. Young Thug),” and Avicii’s “Lonely Together (feat. Rita Ora).”
