RITA ORA RELEASES NEW SINGLE “ANYWHERE” CO-WRITTEN BY ALI TAMPOSI
Date:
Rita Ora released her new single “Anywhere,” today, co-written by Reservoir writer Ali Tamposi.
The second release off Ora’s upcoming sophomore studio album, “Anywhere” introduced her new club music inspired sound, as the pulsing beat feels like a dance hit in the making. “Over the hills and far away/ A million miles from L.A./ Just anywhere away with you,” Ora sings in the love anthem, just before the beat drops.
Ora spoke to AOL Entertainment about her upcoming album, stating, “It just feels like I’ve been reborn…[the album] has an undertone of just wanting everyone to come to my party, where everyone is invited.”
Along with the single’s release, Ora also dropped the music video to accompany it. MTV UK, praising the video, says, “From freely dancing around Times Square (in a major sequined jumpsuit, no less) to strolling the city sidewalks with outfit-matching balloons, the super-fun video looks like a high-fashion Rita In Wonderland.”
Rita Ora and Ali Tamposi have worked together previously on the collaboration single “Lonely Together (feat. Rita Ora)” by Avicii, which released in August. Tamposi’s latest co-write follows up recent smashes “Havana” by Camila Cabello, Hailee Steinfeld and Alesso’s “Let Me Go (feat. Florida Georgia Line & Watt),” and the RIAA platinum certified hit “It Ain’t Me” by Selena Gomez and Kygo.
