American rap-rocker Kid Rock dropped The Studio Albums: 1998-2012, a retrospective compilation release spanning a whopping six albums.  With hit singles like “Cowboy” and “All Summer Long” included in the mix, The Studio Albums is sure to be a worthy investment for serious fans of the Kid.

Another highlight track immortalized on the release is “Picture”, a strikingly sentimental piece that has long stood out among Rock’s more raucous cuts.  Written and performed with accomplished crooner Sheryl Crow, “Picture” remains a fan favorite over ten years after its release.

The other Crow collaboration featured on The Studio Albums, “Run Off To L.A.”, contrasts the heartbreak encapsulated in “Picture”, as the artists ditch their tissues to sing an upbeat tune inviting their lovers to hit the road.
