California native Jake Mitchell was born to be a country songwriter. His maternal grandfather taught him to play fiddle and acoustic guitar at an early age.  From his dad, a church worship leader as well as an aspiring gospel songwriter, he learned more tools of the songwriting trade. By the time he arrived in Nashville with his family, he was already crafting great songs!

Jake signed his first publishing deal with Nashville Publishing legend, Pat Higdon and Patrick Joseph Music, in 2013. His songs have been recorded by Luke Bryan , Kenny Chesney, Jameson Rogers, Hardy, Keith Urban, Troy Cartwright,  FGL, Jon Langston, The Oak Ridge Boys,  Ashley McBride, Morgan Wallen, Chrissy Metz,  Ashley Monroe and more.
