Born and raised in Paris, he released his first album, Just a Little More Love, in 2002. Guetta has since released six additional studio albums, eleven compilation albums and more. He first achieved mainstream success with his 2009 album One Love. The album included hit singles “When Love Takes Over”, “Gettin’ Over You”, and “Memories”. Also in 2009, Guetta co-wrote/co-produced the hit single “I Gotta Feeling” by the Black Eyed Peas, a now Diamond-certified track that reached No. 1 on countless charts across the globe upon its release, and held the No. 1 spot on Billboard’s Hot 100 for 14 straight weeks.

In 2018, Guetta released his seventh studio album, aptly titled 7. The album included the singles “2U”, “Like I Do”, “Flames” and “Don’t Leave Me Alone”, as well as featured single “Say My Name” with Bebe Rexha and J Balvin. 7 was Guetta’s third album to reach No. 1 on the U.S. Dance/Electronic Albums charts. In 2020, Guetta released a collab with Sia called “Let’s Love”, which The Consequence of Sound called “an uplifting ’80s banger”.

Guetta also released “Pa’ La Cultura,” co-written/co-produced by Reservoir’s Thom Bridges in partnership with the philanthropic initiative titled Human(X), a multimedia charity initiative with the purpose of curating and sending messages of humanity. Most recently, Guetta worked with K-Pop female supergroup BLACKPINK, co-writing “Lovesick Girls”, a hit track off their debut album THE ALBUM.
