JENNIFER HUDSON DEBUTS NEW SINGLE “BURDEN DOWN” CO-WRITTEN BY JAMIE HARTMAN ON THE VOICE
Oscar and Grammy winner Jennifer Hudson premiered her emotional new single “Burden Down,” co-written by Reservoir/Reverb Music writer Jamie Hartman, on last night’s episode of The Voice. Hudson, a coach on the show’s current thirteenth season, performed the ballad while playing the piano. The audience was visibly moved throughout the performance, breaking out in applause as she belted the track’s poignant lyrics, such as “I’m a pillar you’re used to leaning one” and “just this once can I lay this burden down”.
Additionally, Hudson released the music video for “Burden Down,” featuring stunning visuals and cinematography to compliment the song’s impassioned feeling.
