JAMIE HARTMAN EARNS DOUBLE NOMINATIONS FOR THE 2020 IVORS ‘PRS FOR MUSIC MOST PERFORMED WORK’
Date:
The Ivors Academy announced the nominees for The Ivors 2020 Ivor Novello Awards and Reservoir writer Jamie Hartman has been doubly-nominated for the ‘PRS for Music Most Performed Work.’
Hartman contributed to Calvin Harris & Rag’N’Bone Man’s “Giant” and Lewis Capaldi’s “Hold Me While You Wait,” which are two of the three works nominated for the prestigious award. The category honors titles that received the most broadcast, online, and general performance in the UK during 2019. While the Ivors will not be held in person this year, all winners will be announced on September 2nd.
These mark Hartman’s third and fourth Ivor Novello nominations. He was previously nominated in the PRS For Music Most Performed Work category in 2018 for co-writing and co-producing the smash hit “Human” performed by Rag’n’Bone Man. His first nomination came in 2007 when he picked up a Best Song Musically and Lyrically nod for co-writing “Let Me Out” as the frontman of pop-rock band, Ben’s Brother.
