GENERAL ROOTS RELEASE DEBUT ALBUM FEATURING TWO TRACKS CO-WRITTEN WITH JOE CANG
Date:
English reggae band General Roots release their debut album, Walk Tall, via Evergreen Recordings today featuring two cuts written by Reservoir/Reverb Music writer Joe Cang. The album’s title track is a laid back cut with a positive message: “No matter how you’re feeling, walk tall, just lift your spirit to the sky.” The song debuted on David Rodigan’s BBC Radio 1xtra Alborosie Special last last month.
Meanwhile “Little Sun” is equally uplifting, spouting a message of hope: “If you don’t believe that you can be a spark, light a fire and take away the dark, I’ll keep burning bright like a little sun.”
