BTS RELEASES NEW ALBUM ‘LOVE YOURSELF: ANSWER’ FEATURING ALI TAMPOSI & LIZA OWEN COLLABS
Date:
K-pop sensation BTS dropped their new album Love Yourself: Answer, today via BigHit Entertainment. The 26-track compilation project includes lead single “Idol” co-written by Reservoir’s Ali Tamposi. Blending traditional Korean instruments with a mixture of hip-hop and EDM beats, “Idol” is a catchy and upbeat cut that speaks on the group’s struggles with embracing the duality of fame. The music video for the fun track brings a vibrant party atmosphere, while also referencing Korean and Chinese traditional style. The mv has racked up over 20 million views and counting, since its release earlier this morning. A bonus version of “Idol” featuring Nicki Minaj is also included on the digital album, which Hollywood Life calls “sizzling”. Furthermore, Love Yourself: Answer features the tropical Ali Tamposi and Liza Owen co-written “Airplane pt.2,” previously featured on Love Yourself: Tear.
The compilation album marks the final part of the group’s Love Yourself trilogy, alongside Billboard 200 #1 album Love Yourself: Tear released earlier this year and EP Love Yourself: Her, which debuted in 2017.
