THE CHAINSMOKERS DROP NEW SINGLE ‘WHO DO YOU LOVE’ WITH 5 SECONDS OF SUMMER, CO-WRITTEN BY THE ORPHANAGE
Date:
The Chainsmokers released their new collaborative single “Who Do You Love” with 5 Seconds of Summer, co-written by The Orphanage, today via Disruptor Records/Columbia Records.
The captivating cut blends smooth acoustic and rock elements with The Chainsmokers signature EDM sound, while 5SOS’ Luke Hemmings calls out an unfaithful lover, singing, “Who do you love, do you love now? I wanna know the truth”. Billboard notes the track “examines the creeping feeling of distrust and abandon that comes when one person feels infidelity in their bones” while “still glow[ing] with all the rosy hues of love”.
“Who Do You Love” follows up The Orphanage’s recent collaboration with pop boy band PRETTYMUCH on new single “BLiND”, as well as their collab with Alessia Cara on her 2018 album The Pains of Growing.
