DEMI LOVATO DROPS NEW ALBUM ‘DANCING WITH THE DEVIL… THE ART OF STARTING OVER’ FEAT. THE ORPHANAGE COLLABS
Date:
Demi Lovato released the deluxe version of her new album Dancing With the Devil… The Art of Starting Over today, featuring collaborations with The Orphanage‘s Zaire Koalo, Trevor Brown, and Keith “Ten4” Sorrells. In addition to the Zaire Koalo and Trevor Brown collabs “The Art Of Starting Over,” “Lonely People,” “The Kind Of Lover I Am,” & “15 Minutes,” plus The Orphanage’s Keith “Ten4” Sorrells collab “California Sober,” the deluxe version includes the bonus track “Sunset” co-written and produced by Koalo and Brown.
Regarding the album, NME states “Powerful, purposeful and uncompromising, this is her definitive artistic statement to date. Demi Lovato is done pretending, and it really suits her.” Vulture similarly notes “The Art of Starting Over is charged with the unenviable task of speaking to Lovato’s brutal personal trials while remaining true to the uplifting sounds and words of her back catalog. This is easily the best Demi album, and maybe the best of the young year’s pop crop thus far. Abandoning the old, safe, controlled narrative has worked wonders, but it’s the exploration that makes Starting Over great.”
