YOUNG THUG’S ‘SO MUCH FUN’ DEBUTS AT #1 ON BILLBOARD 200 CHART

Reservoir rapper Young Thug earned his first career Billboard #1 album with his debut studio LP So Much Fun. Released on his 28th birthday, So Much Fun racked up 131K equivalent album units—nearly 168M on-demand audio streams, making it the fifth-largest streaming week for any album and the second-largest week for a hip-hop album this year, according to Billboard. The 19-track LP features guest appearances from Quavo, Machine Gun Kelly, Future, Juice WRLD, 21 Savage, NAV and more, and includes Thug’s recent and most successful single to date as a lead artist, “The London” feat. J. Cole & Travis Scott. The ATL rapper is also celebrating a transatlantic #1 album this week as Ed Sheeran’s No. 6 Collaborations Project, on which he features on the song “Feels” tops the UK Official Albums Chart for the fifth week.
