Reservoir’s Senior Vice President of Creative and A&R Spek is going back to his performing roots with new musical group, Voo Doo Kids. The group’s second single, “Staring At The Sun”, was released today on all digital music platforms.

Voo Doo Kids is comprised of Spek, alongside collaborators Brian Rose and Alex Donohoe. As Spek elaborated in his recent guest column on Hypebot, the new realities of success in music are that of volume and consistency, and as such, the group formed with a simple premise in mind, to “put out one song, per month, every month, until one of [them] dies”.

Voo Doo Kids embarked on their new collaborative project last month, when the first single “Fine” was released on December 9. Future singles will drop the second week of each month.
