VANCE JOY’S “LAY IT ON ME”, CO-WRITTEN BY DAVE BASSETT, SHORTLISTED FOR APRA 2018 SONG OF THE YEAR

The APRA Music Awards announced the shortlist for the prestigious ‘Song Of The Year’ nomination, today. Among the the Top 20 contenders is Vance Joy ‘s hit single “Lay It On Me,” co-written by Reservoir’s Dave Bassett. Released in July 2017, the alternative track has since been certified Platinum in Australia and has reached #18 on the ARIA charts, as well as #4 on Billboard’s U.S. Alternative Songs chart. The nomination, determined by APRA songwriter and publisher members, will be further narrowed down to a Top 5 in March with the 2018 APRA Music Awards taking place April 10th in Sydney.
