UPDATED: ‘LONG.LIVE.A$AP’ DEBUTS AT #1 ON THE BILLBOARD 200 & R&B/HIP-HOP ALBUMS

A$AP Rocky’s debut studio album, LONG.LIVE.A$AP, arrives atop the Billboard 200 in the charts to be released later this week. Billboard announced the news, revealing that A$AP’s is the first debut album to hit #1 on the chart since fellow rapper and collaborator 2 Chainz topped the 200 list in September 2012.
LONG.LIVE.A$AP scanned 139,000 copies in its first week on sale. Meanwhile, album single “F**kin’ Problems” with Drake, 2 Chainz, and Kendrick Lamar has sold upwards of 850,000 downloads.

UPDATED 1/28/13: The latest Billboard charts confirm that not only did LONG.LIVE.A$AP take the top spot on the Billboard 200, but on the R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart as well.
