Major Lazer, DJ Snake, and MØ‘s single “Lean On” has been officially certified Platinum by the RIAA. This major milestone announcement is the latest in a series of accomplishments for the trio’s hit song. “Lean On” was crowned one of the top Shazamed songs of Coachella, and has already hit #1 in 10 countries this year: Australia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, Luxembourg, France, The Netherlands, Slovakia, Switzerland, and U.K. Dance/Indie chart. The cut also currently remains at #1 on Billboard’s Hot Electronic Chart and is in the Top 5 of Hot 100 and still climbing, in addition to a Top 5 position in IMPEL’s international streaming chart. The video, meanwhile, is holding steady at #1 on the YouTube charts and was recently nominated for MTV’s “Song Of The Summer” Video Music Award.

Major Lazer recently released several remixes for the song and the group has performed a string of memorable US television performances including Good Morning America and The Tonight Show, in addition to international music festival Lowlands in the Netherlands, showcasing the song’s continuing popularity.
