The Slakadeliqs, musical alter ego of Reservoir singer-songwriter-producer Slakah The Beatchild, have been chosen to perform at the ten-year anniversary showcase for their record label, Do Right! Music.  Do Right! is a Canadian label whose mission is to “share the best new jazz, soul, funk and hip hop sounds with like-minded souls.”

Besides The Slakadeliqs, featured artists at the anniversary event include Maylee Todd, Toronto’s Movement collective (comprised of DJs A Man Called Warwick, Aki, Jason Palma, Nav, and John Kong), and DJ Catalist.

The celebration takes place on Friday, October 26 at The Great Hall in Toronto.  Tickets to the event can be ordered on Do Right!’s official website. 

The Slakadeliqs have a second Toronto date at The Drake Underground on Sunday, October 28, with The Stepkids.
