STATIK SELEKTAH & TERMANOLOGY RELEASE COLLABORATIVE ALBUM ‘STILL 1982’
Date:
Reservoir producer Statik Selektah and rapper Termanology dropped their new album Still 1982 today, via Showoff/ST. Records. Eight years after the release of the pair’s first collaborative album 1892, the duo is back, “finding creative strength within the old school boom bap sound” notes HotNewHipHop. “It’s definitely filling a gap right now of just fun, traditional East Coast Hip Hop,” Statik told HipHopDX, “No extra hype or gimmicks…” a statement that can certainly be upheld by smooth yet captivating tracks such as “Still” featuring Kendra Foster and sentimental, reflective anthems like “Different Now” featuring CJ Fly.
Static Selektah’s work with Termanology follows the release of joint album Saints & Sinners with Millyz, as well as collaborations with The Hoodies, Quadir Lateef, and more.
