Today, the Canadian Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences (CARAS) and MusiCounts announced Spek, PopArabia Founder and Chief Executive Officer / Reservoir Executive Vice President of International and Emerging Markets, has been appointed to the 2023-2024 Board of Directors.

On his appointment, Spek commented, “I’m honored to be joining the CARAS and MusiCounts board at such a pivotal moment for Canadian music and for homegrown artists making their mark worldwide. I’m very much looking forward to working with Allan and my fellow board directors on the JUNO Awards and to use my own experiences across the industry to support the CARAS mission.”
