SLAKAH’S MADHUS CAFE CONNECTS COFFEE & ART
Date:
Byram “Slakah the Beatchild” Joseph’s latest endeavor, the Madhüs Cafe in Toronto, is steadily building community ties between coffee aficionados and artists alike. The location serves as both a destination for those seeking a caffeine fix as well as musical and visual artists looking to showcase their work in a curated, authentic environment. Only a few months old, Madhüs has been steadily building a name for itself as a creative hotspot in Toronto. Recent press coverage, like this Post City “Counter Culture” article, has been positive, and the team at Reservoir congratulates Slakah and his partner Kendra for their achievement.
When he’s not manning the espresso machine, Slakah the Beatchild delights fans with his signature, groove-driven sounds reminiscent of legends like Raphael Saadiq and the late beatmaster J. Dilla.
