SEETHER UNVEIL VIDEO FOR “WORDS AS WEAPONS”
Date:
Seether premieres the official music video for “Words As Weapons”, the first single from the band’s upcoming album, Isolate and Medicate, today. Filmed at the historic Vasquez Rocks in northern Los Angeles, the video is noted as being inspired by the work of 19th century filmmaker Jean Cocteau. Meanwhile, “Words As Weapons” is a downtempo rock ballad that lures the listener with poignant melodies over sparse instrumentation, before exploding into an aggressive, high-energy chorus.
Seether also announced an album release show in New York, where the band will perform at the Gramercy Theatre on July 1st. Fans can purchase tickets to the show, and get acquainted with other Seether performance dates, here.
Isolate and Medicate is available for pre-order on iTunes here, and includes immediate downloads of both “Words As Weapons” and “Suffer It All,” one of the album’s heavier tracks.
