RESERVOIR’S GOLNAR KHOSROWSHAHI, DONNA CASEINE, & FAITH NEWMAN HONORED AT 2022 BILLBOARD WOMEN IN MUSIC AWARDS
Date:
Last night, Billboard hosted its 2022 Women In Music Awards in Los Angeles, celebrating the women who have made invaluable contributions across the music industry in the past year.
As announced by the publication in February, Reservoir’s Founder and CEO Golnar Khosrowshahi was honored as the 2022 Executive of the Year. Hit Reservoir songwriter Ali Tamposi presented Golnar with the award, describing her as an “inspirational woman full of energy and love…who executes with class, enthusiasm, and ferocity.”
In her speech, Golnar encouraged the industry “to continue to recruit, mentor, and cultivate the next generation of female leaders…so that one day, recognizing women in leadership roles will be the expectation and not a necessity.” Reservoir’s EVP, Global Creative Director Donna Caseine and EVP of A&R and Catalog Development Faith Newman were also recognized by Billboard as Top Executives for 2022.
Additionally, Blue Raincoat Artists management client Phoebe Bridgers received the Trailblazer Award, recognizing her as a music industry pioneer who uses her platform to spotlight unheard voices and break ground for future generations of performers. Bridgers also performed an acoustic version of “Kyoto” at the ceremony.
