Date:
Reservoir cuts grabbed the #1 and #2 spots on both the UK Official Singles and Official Album charts this week.
Ariana Grande’s latest album Positions debuted at #1 on the UK Official Album chart, while her lead single “positions” has retained its spot as the #1 single on the UK Official Singles chart. The 14-track album features nine collaborations with Reservoir’s Mr. Franks, along with two co-written/co-produced tracks by Khris Riddick-Tynes. NME named the body of work “jaw-droppingly good fun.” Before this project, Franks most recently collaborated with Grande and Social House on their 2019 Grammy-nominated track “Boyfriend.”
Additionally, Sam Smith’s recently released album Love Goes, featuring cut “Kids Again” co-written by Reservoir’s Ali Tamposi, premiered at #2 on the UK Official Album chart.
Coming in at the #2 spot on the UK Singles chart is catalog cut “Lemonade” by Internet Money and Gunna, featuring NAV and Don Toliver. The single, which has amassed over 300 million streams on Spotify, spent 12 weeks on the UK charts and previously peaked at number one.
