MTV hosted its annual Movie Awards ceremony last night, unloading a list of winners that includes two films with Reservoir-assisted soundtracks.

The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, the second and latest release in the unstoppable book-turned-film franchise, won awards in three categories: Best Male Performance for actor Josh Hutcherson; Best Female Performance for America’s latest sweetheart, Jennifer Lawrence; and the coveted title of Movie Of The Year.  Catching Fire features Reservoir title “Lights”, an original song written and performed by Phantogram. The track, with its ethereal vocals and stuttering synth, is in many ways a sonic portrait of the film’s eerie, dystopian themes.

Wiz Khalifa and Reservoir writer 2 Chainz created the feature track “We Own It” for the film Fast & Furious 6, which received the award for Best On-Screen Duo, thanks to the incredible work of Vin Diesel and the late Paul Walker.
