Reservoir/Reverb Music’s Chief Financial Officer Mike Box has been re-elected to IMPEL’s Board of Directors as announced by the group today. Box is a founding member of IMPEL and the director of IMPEL Ltd., as well as chairman of the IMPEL Advisory Group. Box will serve his term alongside fellow re-elected members John Minch (Imagem), Simon Platz (Bucks), Nigel Elderton (Peermusic), Chris Butler (Music Sales), and John Truelove (Truelove Music), and the newly elected Roberto Neri (Downtown) and Peter Thomas (Carlin).

IMPEL, which stands for Independent Music Publisher’s E-Licensing, offers collective rights management to independent publishers and is the largest collective with a membership of almost 50 publishers. The group boasts a considerable distribution growth of 60% in the last year, driven by streaming.
