Chaos and the Calm by James Bay is nominated for Best Rock Album. The album featuresthe song “Move Together” written by Jamie Hartman. Fun fact: “Move Together” is the track that got Bay discovered.
2014 Forest Hills Drive by J. Cole is nominated for Best Rap Album. The album features the song “G.O.M.D.”, which includes a sample of “Get Low” written by Jonathan Smith (aka Lil Jon).
If You’re Reading This, It’s Too Late by Drake is nominated for Best Rap Album. The album features Reservoir cut “6 Man”, which samples The Roots‘ “You Got Me”, written by Scott Storch.
Skrillex and Diplo Present Jack Ü by Skrillex & Diplo is nominated for Best Dance/Electronic Album. The album features the song “Febreeze”, featuring and written with 2 Chainz.
My Favorite Things by Joey Alexander is nominated for Best Jazz Instrumental Album. The album features the jazz standard “Lush Life”, written by Billy Strayhorn.
My Dream Duets by Barry Manilow is nominated for Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album. The album features “Sunshine on My Shoulders” performed by Barry Manilow & John Denver, and written by Dick Kniss and Mike Taylor.
Interstellar by Hans Zimmer is nominated for Best Score Soundtrack for Visual Media.
