Reservoir President and Chief Operating Officer Rell Lafargue has been re-elected to the Board of Directors of the Music Publishers Canada (MPC). Lafargue was previously appointed to the board in 2018 and again in 2020.

As Reservoir’s President and COO, Lafargue oversees all aspects of the company’s day-to-day operations and has spearheaded Reservoir’s international and domestic expansion efforts, including the company going public on the Nasdaq in 2021. Over the past year, Lafargue has supported several key deals for Reservoir, including a publishing deal for the catalog of music icon Joni Mitchell.

On June 9^th, 2022 Lafargue will be participating as a featured panel guest for Canadian Music Week’s event titled, “Can You Loan Me a Dime?,” where he will be discussing how to navigate the business of acquisitions.

As a member of the MPC board, Lafargue has continued supporting the Canadian music publishing community, utilizing his global network to further advocate for songwriters and music publishers everywhere.
