OLLY KNIGHTS RELEASES ‘BITTEN BY THE FROST’ MUSIC VIDEO
Date:
Reverb singer-songwriter Olly Knights treated fans to a new music video for his single “Bitten By The Frost,” released today. Knights, who is one half of the successful UK folk duo Turin Brakes, recently launched his solo career with his debut album, If Not Now When. “Bitten By The Frost” is the first official single from the album and is currently available for pre-order in the UK.
Video director Philip Bloom posted a behind the scenes look at the video, with quotes from Olly, to his professional blog. In the piece, Knights dives into the concept of the video, explaining that the track explores his often-explored themes of the human condition. He goes on to describe the concept as “the ying/yang of desire and drive fighting it out with the emotional numbness and mundanity of the sheer plod of everyday.” The theme he describes is demonstrated throughout the video, with shots of Knights going through the motions of everyday life in song.
