Two Philly Groove catalog cuts, “Are You Ready For Me?” by First Choice and “Thank You Baby” by Flashlight, have scored featured placement on the soundtrack for the recently released documentary I Believe In Miracles. The film, centered around the history-making Nottingham Forest soccer team that won consecutive European Cups in 1979 and 1980, premiered at the Nottingham football stadium earlier this month before wide release in the UK.

For the last few years, Reservoir has been working to keep the historic Philadelphia-based R&B label Philly Groove’s legacy alive, having released several albums featuring catalog classics, in addition to a partnership with Drexel University and a major sync placement for The Delfonics hit “Hey Love” in a national McDonald’s ad campaign.
