MØ RELEASES ‘NO MYTHOLOGIES’
Date:
MØ‘s debut album, No Mythologies To Follow, was released in Europe and Australia today to fans who have demonstrated an incredible amount of support for the Danish artist, propelling her first full-length release to the #1 (deluxe) and #8 (standard) spots on the Danish iTunes store.
The album is produced almost entirely by MØ’s long-time musical partner Ronni Vindahl, who establishes a strong foundation of 808 drums and lush synth arrangements for MØ’s vocals to soar over. Pitchfork praises the pair’s chemistry, crediting their expert use of Scandi-pop and dirty-South sounds, as well as MØ’s own personal charm, for making the release great.
No Mythologies To Follow contains twelve songs in MØ and Ronni’s signature style, with the deluxe version of the release boasting an additional eight tracks. These include four stripped-down “Night Version” remixes that give MØ’s strong vocals even more space to shine.
While fans in Europe and Australia can enjoy No Mythologies to Follow today, U.S. fans can look forward to downloading the release on iTunes tomorrow.
