MØ, who kicked off 2014 as one of the indie pop movement’s top artists to watch, closed out the year with a poignant, thematic ballad called “New Year’s Eve”.  Dropped two days before the ball drop, the single’s melancholy pace juxtaposes its hopeful lyrical message of forgetting one’s problems, joining hands with friends, and enjoying the night.
