MIGOS AND MARSHMELLO RELEASE NEW COLLABORATIVE SINGLE “DANGER” FEATURED IN NETFLIX’S ‘BRIGHT’ MOVIE
Date:
Migos and Marshmello have joined forces on their new single “Danger,” featured in the upcoming Netflix movie Bright, today via Atlantic Records. The track features Migos’ signature flow and hard edge, while Marshmello’s EDM flair can be heard as vocal whisp in the background instrumental.
Praising the collaborative track, Billboard notes, “’Danger’ is a hip-hop track through and through, equipped with brass instruments and a slide bassline, which displays Migo’s gritty style.” Taking the first verse, Offset makes reference to the Migos track “Motor Sport” and boasts the group’s boldness, rapping, “Foot on the gas, hear the motor/Switichin’ my thoughts, I’m bipolar/I stare in the eyes of the cobra.” To accompany the release, Migos and Marshmello dropped a music video for “Danger,” vising video footage from the Netflix’s Bright movie, which the song is featured on.
“Danger” is the newest collaboration by producer Mashmello after the release of his collaborative track “Wolves” with Selena Gomez in October, co-written by Ali Tamposi. Additionally, Migos have recently been nominated for two Grammy awards at 2018’s upcoming ceremony for their releases “Bad and Boujee” and Culture.
