Head-turning singer/rapper/artist M.I.A. released Matangi, her newest album, today. The release includes fifteen intricate, rhythmically-driven tracks, including hit single “Bad Girls”, produced by Danja.

First released in early 2012, “Bad Girls” has had continued success with a Grammy-nominated and VMA-winning music video, placements in The Mindy Project (twice), trailers for The Heat, Identity Thief, The Bling Ring, Step Up Revolution,  A-list remixes, and more.  

Huffington Post writes that Matangi “pops with a relentless pounce”, while Spin notes “Bad Girls” as M.I.A.’s “strongest single in year”.

Earlier this year, Danja was honored at SESAC’s Pop Awards for his impressive portfolio, which includes hits for stars like Chris Brown, Justin Timberlake, Britney Spears, and Diddy.
