Rapper Lil Yachty released his second studio album Lil Boat 2, today. Featuring a collaboration with Migos’ Offset on tracks “Mickey (feat Lil Baby)” and “Baby Daddy (feat. Lil Pump)” as well as with 2 Chainz on “OOPS (feat K$upeme)”, the album consistently grabs listeners attention with its hard-hitting bass and ominous melody.

DJBooth calls the cuts “trap music with a dab of fun”, stating 2 Chainz “sounds like luxury” and Offset “has the perfect voice for records like this”, while Vulture notes 2 Chainz’ verse was “effortless”.

Migos and 2 Chainz have had a busy year already, with the ATL rap trio most recently performing hits “Stir Fry” and “Narcos” on Saturday Night Live, while Chainz both guested on Logic’s latest project Bobby Tarantino II and released his own EP The Play Don’t Care Who Makes It.
