Today, Grammy Award-winning artist Laufy has released an Amazon Exclusive reimagined version of Miles Davis‘ “Blue In Green.” The new single adds lyrics to the renowned Davis song and is available to stream on Amazon Music.

In addition to the release, Laufey has teamed up with Lexus for a special event surrounding the song and Lexus’ new all-electric RZ vehicle. Earlier this year, Lexus used Davis’ original “Blue in Green” for their ad campaign announcing the vehicle. Tonight’s event will also feature the reveal of the Blue In Green Edition RZ, a custom electric vehicle inspired by the collaboration, and Laufey will hold her first-ever livestream on Twitch for the live debut of her rendition “Blue In Green.”

On the partnership, Laufey commented, “Miles Davis understood the roots of jazz – and then reinvented it. That spirit of honoring the past while moving it forward is what makes this tribute so meaningful.”
