KINCK RETURNS WITH NEW SINGLE ‘KITTY GOT CLAWS’
Date:
Denmark-based singer-songwriter Kinck premiered her new single “Kitty Got Claws,” today via Bands of Tomorrow. The feisty pop single features spunky vocals and a catchy trap-influenced beat. Bands of Tomorrow emphasizes that the cut is “a mix of trapbeats and hip hop twists on Stine Kinck’s vocals on the solid track, which warns a promising EP full of attitude.”
Kinck told Bands of Tomorrow, “Although ‘Kitty Got Claws’ is written as a love song, it is really about repeating the same mistake over and over because you are not ready to change. In this situation, it is about me who keeps me at a safe distance when it comes to love because of my independence and past experiences of love. So this one goes out to everyone who has been ravaged by the past and has the claws out to protect themselves.”
“Kitty Got Claws” follows up Kinck’s previous singles “Hunger Pains,” and ”Twisted,” along with Leotrix collab “Swimboy,” and Greatness Jones collab “Blind Spot.”
