JOEY BADA$$ DROPS COLLABORATION ’80 BLOCKS’ WITH CHUCK STRANGERS

Brooklyn rapper Joey Bada$$ released a new collaboration with Chuck Strangers titled “80 Blocks” via SoundCloud, today. The laidback and soulful cut delves into the themes of survival and turning past problems into successes. Throughout the track, Bada$$’ signature witty and thoughtful lyrics such as “And that’s the ugly truth, I’m speakin’ from my troubled youth/ To whom I try to give a mental boost when I’m in the booth/ Been through the struggle, made it out, I’m the livin’ proof” combine introspection and self awareness with the cut’s chill vibes.
2018 has proven to be fruitful for Joey already. In addition to “80 Blocks” and last month’s release “King To A God“, the All-American Bada$$ rapper also reached a major milestone this year with single “Devastated” becoming RIAA Platinum certified as well as his co-written hit “Rockstar” by Post Malone reaching 2x Platinum.
