CHRISTINA GRIMMIE’S POSTHUMOUS ALBUM ‘ALL IS VANITY’ IS RELEASED FEATURING PHIL BENTLEY CO-WRITE
Date:
On the one year anniversary of her passing, Christina Grimmie’s posthumous album, All Is Vanity, was released on Friday to honor the gifted singer and songwriter. The ten track LP, released by Republic Records, ZXL Music, and the Grimmie family, features the track “Crowded Room” written with Reservoir writer Phil Bentley. Grimmie and Bentley previously collaborated together on Grimmie’s hit “I Bet You Don’t Curse God” off of her debut album, With Love, back in 2013.
All Is Vanity is one of the many ways that the breakout Youtube star and NBC’s The Voiceseason 6 finalist’s legacy lives on. Grimmie’s family released a new song, “Invisible,” back in February and Team Adam performed a tribute to Grimmie on this past season of the popular reality singing competition where the family announced the creation of the Christina Grimmie Foundation. A portion of the proceeds from each copy of the new album sold will be donated to the organization, which supports those whose loved ones are victims of both gun violence or have dealt with a breast cancer diagnosis.
