Position: Senior Social Media & Digital Marketing Specialist

The Position
Reservoir is seeking a creative and strategic professional to join our team as Senior Social Media & Digital Marketing Specialist. This role will report directly to the Vice President, Marketing & Communication, and work closely with the Music Publishing Marketing and the Recorded Music Marketing teams. This role will oversee social media management for multiple Reservoir-owned properties and clients, developing and executing tailored strategies to strengthen brand presence and engagement across platforms. As our digital efforts grow, this role will have the opportunity to take on expanded creative responsibilities and contribute to emerging cross-functional projects. The role includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:
- Day-to-day management of social media accounts for Reservoir-owned properties and client partners.
- Partner with internal teams to pilot new artist-facing creative services, including social strategy, short-form content development, and digital campaign execution.
- Conduct account and audience audit reports to inform data-driven content strategies.
- Develop bespoke social media plans tailored to each brand’s goals, tone, and audience insights.
- Create and curate weekly content—sourcing, writing, and designing as needed—in each brand or client’s unique voice.
- Manage the content approvals process to ensure accuracy, consistency, and timeliness prior to posting.
- Track and report monthly on social media performance, growth, and engagement metrics.
- Perform competitive and market research to inspire content and publishing strategies aligned with departmental, company, and client goals.
- Grow presence and engagement across social media and streaming platforms using insights from analytics, research, and platform best practices.
- Maintain artist websites and produce email newsletters as needed.
- Support new business initiatives and help secure new clients or accounts.
Qualifications:
- 3–5 years of experience in social media management, digital marketing, or related fields.
- Advanced proficiency with major social media platforms including TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, X, and LinkedIn.
- Proven success developing and executing impactful social media strategies for brands or talent.
- Strong visual and written storytelling skills with a key eye for maintaining brand voice and consistency.
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, and MailChimp.
- Expert-level understanding of analytics tools, performance metrics, and content scheduling software.
- Highly organized, creative, and data-driven with a results-oriented mindset.
Compensation
An annual base salary commensurate with skills and experience of $75,000 – $105,000 (USD), plus a bonus and competitive benefits will be offered to the successful hire.

Position: Manager, Recorded Music Royalties
Location: New York City, NY (Hybrid) or Nashville, TN (Hybrid)
The Position
Reservoir is seeking to fill a leadership position in its Recorded Music Royalties division in Nashville, TN or New York, NY to play a pivotal role in the full lifecycle of royalty operations. This position will help drive all aspects of artist royalty processing and analysis, ensuring timely and accurate reporting to our roster of recording artists. The position will report to the Director, Recorded Music Royalties and the primary focus of this position will be maintaining a high standard of data quality in Reservoir’s recorded music royalty platform, while collaborating with the wider team and departments across the company to continually assess and improve data infrastructure. The role includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:
- Maintain an efficient flow of royalty data through our various internal systems.
- Optimize the data ingestion process, normalizing large volumes of data from diverse sources.
- Ensure a high standard of data quality throughout the recorded music royalty platform.
- Be a key contributor to large-scale royalty data migrations.
- Analyze income and receipts data to improve revenue collections.
- Review artist and producer contracts to onboard new royalty accounts.
- Research artist contracts and industry databases to fulfill mechanical licenses.
- Glean business intelligence by analyzing music data.
- Research and service inquiries from artist client teams.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience dealing with large amounts of data within the music industry (including internships).
- Bachelor’s degree (music business or related field preferred).
- Ability to extract and manipulate data from high volume datafiles.
- Self-starter and self-motivated comfortable working with financial data, calculations, spreadsheets.
- Strong skills with Excel and Tableau highly preferred.
- Experience with record label royalty systems preferred but not required.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Handles and safeguards highly confidential and sensitive or proprietary information.
- Ability to adhere to deadlines and execute on tasks that involve multiple, diverse assignments while producing quality work.

Royalties & Income Tracking Intern Rotation:
Royalties interns will rotate through several areas of the department. Responsibilities may include:
- Becoming familiar with royalty terminology, processes, and various reporting
- Processing incoming royalties received from affiliated parties using Vistex Music Maestro
- Assisting with organizing and maintaining physical and digital statements received
- Providing ad hoc assistance with month end royalty processing
- Aiding in income tracking efforts by claiming unclaimed works on various portals
- Identifying and raising claims for gaps in income from various sources.
- Assisting the income tracking team with analyzing and forecasting vendor payments.
Intern Requirements:
Royalty & Income Tracking intern candidates must have experience using Microsoft Excel. Candidates must be undergraduate or graduate students enrolled in a music business, finance, accounting, or related program. - Assisting with D2C website (release descriptions/social media links/gathering content)
- Creating marketing materials, one sheets, custom graphics and video assets for promotional ops & social media
- Aiding with metadata quality assurance across recorded music catalogs within content management system
- Conducting label copy and rights provenance research for legacy recordings as needed
- Supporting the digital ops team regarding the delivery of recorded music catalogs to DSPs

Recorded Music Marketing interns will rotate through several areas of the department. Responsibilities may include:
- Submitting lyrics for frontline and catalog releases in Musixmatch
- Assisting with setting up physical products in OpenPlay to ensure all metadata is preserved on each product
- Assisting in optimizing metadata on backlogged physical products in OpenPlay
- Assisting with setting up large volumes of Catalog Optimization videos in OpenPlay
- Assisting in the preparation of bulk ingest templates for YouTube and OpenPlay
- Assisting in the organization legacy catalog assets in Dropbox
- Supporting catalog onboarding workflows, such as adding art and audio to upcoming catalog takeovers in OpenPlay
- Assisting with internal data audits to ensure accurate data and proper delivery
- Researching metadata missing from deal schedules
Intern Requirements:
Digital Operations intern candidates should have a basic understanding of digital label operations and strong attention to detail. - Curating pitch lists to pitch songs to their supervisors
- Updating weekly spreadsheets for new releases
- Researching potential new signings, acquisitions, and other industry developments
