CAMILA CABELLO’S ‘HAVANA’, CO-WRITTEN BY ALI TAMPOSI, GOES TO #1; ALBUM DEBUTS #1

Camila Cabello’s ‘Havana”, co-written by Reservoir writer Ali Tamopsi, dethrones Ed Sheeran to nab the #1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 this week, while her celebrated solo album, Camila, has debuted No. 1 on the Billboard Top 200 Albums chart, earning the young female artist the honor of first woman to top the Billboard 200 chart with a debut full-length album in three years.
“Havana” has been applauded worldwide, topping Spotify’s Global Top 50 chart, while Stateside, Cabello recently performed the sultry single on Ellen and The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
Tamopsi ended 2017 with notable accomplishments including being named one of Variety’s 2017 Hitmakers and as well as winning the Spotify Secret Genius Award in the dance category. Her most recent work is co- writing Liam Payne and Rita Ora’s new single “For You” from the Fifty Shades Freed soundtrack.
