BROKEN CITY CELEBRATES RELEASES FROM COLTON DIXON, HENNO WILLIAM, AND LLOYD CELE THIS WEEK
Date:
Songwriting and production duo Broken City celebrate three simultaneous releases this week, as Colton Dixon’s Identity, Henno Williams “The Best Part”, and Lloyd Cele’s “Dance With You” are all now available. Each project features feature writing and/or production handled by Broken City.
Christian rock musician and American Idol alum Colton Dixon’s fourth studio album, Identity, drops today via 19 Recordings/Sparrow Records. The album features four tracks co-written and produced by Broken City’s Gannin Arnold and Adam Watts: “No Greater Love”, “Brand New Life”, “I Would Choose You”, and “Down”. Identity currently sits at #1 on iTunes Christian & Gospel Albums chart.
13-year old South African singer Henno William releases his new single “The Best Part” today. William was the first ever South Africa’s Got Talent Golden Buzzer recipient. On working with Arnold and Watts, William told Channel 24, “It was just so amazing to work with these guys. We recorded all the vocals in South Africa, and the instrumental arrangements and post-production were done in Los Angeles, USA.”
In addition to William, Broken City teamed up with with Idols South Africa runner-up Lloyd Cele, co-writing his new single “Dance With Me” which is receiving airplay across the country.
All this comes hot on the heels of the duo’s collaboration with indie artist Julia Ross last month on her EP, True Stories Vol 1, which features five tracks co-written and produced by Broken City.
