BRITS CRITICS’ CHOICE ANNOUNCES SHORTLIST NOMINEES

Nominees for the 2017 Brits’ Critics Choice Awards have been announced, with top honors going to Anne-Marie, Dua Lipa, and Rag’N’Bone Man. Reservoir is pleased to represent songwriters behond the current single for all three of these unique and talented artists.
Anne-Marie is currently making a splash in the UK as the featured vocalist on Clean Bandit’s “Rockabye”, co-written by Ina Wroldsen, which has been #1 on the UK’s official charts for four consecutive weeks. In addition, the singer’s solo single, “Alarm,” also written with Wroldsen, charted worldwide and was certified Gold in the UK. The song has over 150 million streams on Spotify to date.
Dua Lipa’s new single, “Blow Your Mind (Mwah)”, was co-written with Lauren Christy. The pop singer performed the feisty cut on The Today Show earlier this week, where it was noted that she is the second highest selling female artist in the UK this year only behind Adele. “Blow Your Mind (Mwah)” is about to hit Top 40 radio stateside.
Rag’N’Bone Man’s “Human”, co-written with Jamie Hartman, has been #1 in Germany for the last ten weeks, and enters the UK charts this week at #11, following a performance by X Factor contestant Emily Middlemas. In addition to topping iTunes charts in twenty-three territories to date, the song also landed at #3 on Shazam’s Global Chart. Earlier this week, Rag’N’Bone Man earned a nomination for the BBC Sound of 2017 longlist.
