BRINSLEY FORDE PRESENTED WITH AN MBE BY DUKE OF CAMBRIDGE
Date:
A rare and momentous occasion for one Reservoir/Reverb artist, as we congratulate Brinsley Forde who has been presented with an MBE by the Duke of Cambridge.
The Order of the British Empire recognises distinguished service to the arts and sciences, public services outside the Civil Service and work with charitable and welfare organisations. Awards are presented by the British monarchy to British nationals or anyone having made significant achievements and contributions to the United Kingdom.
It is a well-deserved award after a long and prosperous career that has spanned over 30 years, and at one time saw Brinsley as the lead singer of legendary reggae group ASWAD, who performed and released music from the 70s through to the millennium. ASWAD were the first British reggae act to achieve mainstream success.
