Indie-pop duo Black Grapefruit released their new album Fade/Forget, today. The experimental 7-track LP, featuring singles “0122” and “Crypt Keeper,” takes listeners on an alternative pop journey of self-discovery and transformation.

Trend and Chaos notes the pair “is genre-bending,” praising the group’s “innovative soundscapes, experimental beat production, and anthemic hooks…”

Black Grapefruit further described the creative process behind the album to Highsnobiety, “we made this record during a time of intense transition… it’s rare that the two of us can write from the exact same perspective at the exact same time, but the stars really aligned with this one.”
