BEBE REXHA RELEASES NEW SINGLE ‘LAST HURRAH’, CO-WRITTEN BY LAUREN CHRISTY
Date:
Pop songstress Bebe Rexha dropped new single “Last Hurrah” co-written by Lauren Christy, today via Warner Brothers Records.
Billboard notes how the catchy pop anthem “sees Rexha asserting her goal to give up her vices, including but not limited to: drinking, smoking, playing and the fellas,” while Official Charts calls the single a “defiant, triumphant motivational anthem”. Deciding to indulge one last time, she sings “This is my last hurrah, once I start/I ain’t gonna stop ’tiI I go too far/Last hurrah and it’s okay/Maybe tomorrow I won’t feel this pain”.
“Last Hurrah” follows up Christy’s collaboration with Rexha on debut album Expectations, including her co-written hit single “I Got You,” as well as recent collabs with English rock group The Struts on their sophomore album Young & Dangerous, Skyler Stonestreet’s “It Kinda Hurts”, and Laye’s “Milk N Honey”.
