BAS TEAMS UP WITH J.I.D FOR NEW SINGLE “FRIED RICE”
Date:
Rapper Bas released his new single “Fried Rice” featuring Reservoir’s J.I.D, today. HotNewHipHop praises the hard-hitting track and duo, noting “Bas and J.I.D. prove that they’re forces to be reckoned with on this track,” while Highsnobiety calls “Fried Rice” an “ode to the NYC fast food staple.” Furthermore, Stereogum describes the single as a “rich, thoughtful, virtuosically realized rap song, one that looks inward while still displaying ferocious rapping skill.”
“Fried Rice” follows J.I.D’s most recent feature on Ari Lennox’s “Broke,” as well his 2018 highly acclaimed sophomore album DiCaprio 2. The ATL rapper has currently embarked on his Catch Me If You Can Tour, having just played two sold-out shows in Los Angeles.
