“Bandz A Make Her Dance,” the smoky club hit rapped by Juicy J, Lil Wayne, and 2 Chainz, is officially Gold.  The news ran in RIAA’s announcement of new year Platinum and Gold certificate earners.  In the piece, “Bandz” is named one of five first-time winning singles, alongside Kendrick Lamar’s “Swimming Pools (Drank),” Laura Story’s “Blessings,” Future’s “Turn On The Lights,” and Bridgit Mendler’s single, “Ready Or Not.”

“Bandz” has been active on Billboard’s Hot 100 and Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs charts since its Summer 2012 release, with video views upwards of 17 million.
